tenê pıskino raê ser, bınê lınga de
pelexino, çuçıkanê asmêni rê beno
qut. Tenê toxımi ki çarçê hardê
torjıni beno, firıg dano, hama hardê
beji de vêseno, maneno. Tenê
toxımo bini ki çarçê wertê teli u tuli
beno, werte de hakasino, maneno.
Hama toxımo bin gıneno hardê rındi
ro, beno khewe, jü ra sed dano.”
Nae ke vano, vengê xo keno
berz, vano: “Kamo ke hesnaene rê
gosê xo estê, wa gos do!”

“Manê na mesela çıko?” O cüab
dano: “Heq sırê Hukumdarenia xo

4 While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: 5 “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. 6 Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.”

When he said this, he called out, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”

9 His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10 He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that,

“‘though seeing, they may not see;
    though hearing, they may not understand.’[a]

11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

ra. O, laceki keno şüanê xoza, ruşneno
hêgaanê xo ser. Veşaniya xo dest êno

xo ke êno sare, vano, ‘Honde
xızmekari çêverê çê piyê mıde benê

 Uşto ra, gıno be rae ro, şiyo lewê
piyê xo. Lac ke duri ra aseno, pi
vineno; cırê zerrê xo vêşeno. Vazeno,
şono lacê xo keno vırana xo, phaçi
keno. Hama lac cıra vano, ‘Bao, mı
verva Heqi u verva to guna kerde,
qusurê mı esto. Ez endi leeqê to niya
ke vaci lacê tuya, namê tora bêri
wedardaene!’ Hama pi xızmekaranê
xora vano, ‘Rew ra, qatê kıncanê rında
biarê, pıra dê, iştanê bêçıke kerê, cıtê
çarıxa lınga kerê! Nala xurte biarê,
sare bıbırrnê; burime, kêf bıkerime;
çıke, no lacê mı merde bi, reyna ame ro
xo; vindbiyae bi, reyna asa.’ Nae sera

The Parable of the Lost Son
11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.

13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. 14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.

17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

25 “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. 27 ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’

28 “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. 29 But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’

31 “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”
